Fixed a bug in the Live Scoreboard Control which affects the scores after
using the UNDO function following a foul being recorded... now fixed (version
1.1.0.4).

We noticed a couple of bugs in the Scoreboard Control while scoring the
Snooker World Handicap Tournie last weekend which affected the high break
records and safety percentages shown in performance statistics... now fixed
(version 1.1.0.3).

New live scoreboard software and drawsheet maker released.
The BallStream Scoreboard Control
will provide a scoreboard from any monitor connected directly to the computer
(no internet required). BSC caters for all cue sport games including
billiards, snooker, 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball pool with many features for
performance statistics, tournament and draw management. The
BallStream Drawsheet Control can be used
to create seeded draws for all tournaments and all sports. BDC includes tools
and templates for 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 player draws. Players can be selected,
sorted in order of seed or rank and the draw maker will automatically sort the
drawsheet to allow for byes, etc.

Added the option of high and low quality settings for users with slow internet
connections when watching archived videos which are recorded at a much higher
quality than live stream broadcasts.

Fixed a problem encountered when scoring matches where there were more than 80
visits (turns) to the table during a single frame. Slowed down the live score
refresh rate that is displayed with a live video stream to allow for lag time
between real time and stream delay caused by the server encoding. Added a
status bar and controls to the live video display to notify users when the
video stream is being buffered before being shown.

Over the last couple of months William has video recorded the final match of
several major snooker championships around Australia and met with officials
and club staff to discuss the best way to broadcast their next events. These
events have been live streamed where Internet was available, however all of
these events will be available soon as archives for viewing online and on DVD.

Our media server was been moved from the Bribie network to a Brisbane data
centre to cater for unlimited stream video bandwidth and the score databases
have been migrated from Access to SQL to cater for unlimited connections.

Real-time scoreboard embedded into live video streams. Our new software
captures the current scores from the live scoreboard and embeds it into the
video recording as it is being sent to the media server, providing current
point scores, frame scores and the name of the player at the table at the
time.

Modified the full screen scoreboards to suit window size rather than monitor
dimensions. The new scaling functions will now auto-adjust to fit any window
size and automatically adjust to any resized browser window, providing a sharp
and proportional display throughout the whole range of monitor sizes from
desktop to giant plasma screens.

Fixed a bug in the ballstring display that appears on the scoreboards where
colours were not displaying after all reds had been potted. Added a new

Added online chat for logged in scorers. To connect to chat a scorer only has
to be logged into the forum and then click the chat link. Chat includes
private messaging as well as community discussion and the option of using
separate channels (rooms) for different matches.

Added banner advertising management for scorers to sell advertising
space on their scoreboards. Images can be uploaded and scaled/cropped to
the required size and then added to a scorer's individual banner library. From
the match editing control the appropriate banner/s can be assigned. If no
banner is assigned then banners will not appear on the scoreboard for that
match. If multiple banners are assigned they will appear in rotation.

Visitors can now sign up for a demo account
to test drive the score controls without waiting for account approval. Demo accounts are auto
approved providing they validate their identity from a link sent by email. The
demo section uses a separate database and upload folders so that any
misadventure cannot affect matches provided by the official scorers in any
way.

Full screen scoreboards for different screen sizes are now available from
a single link with compensation for irregular screen proportions. Scorers have the option of marking player images so that they may not
be shared by other scorers.
