BallStream scoreboards provided by both our Internet service and our control
software cater for billiards, snooker, 8-ball, 8-ball and 10-ball pool.
Live scoreboard options (internet required)
There are 2 different scoreboard styles to choose from depending on whether
you want to simply watch the match score progress or broadcast them at the
event using a larger monitor.
The scoreboard to the left opens in a small pop window and can display a
photo of each player. The scoreboard to the right is designed for fullscreen
monitor display and will automatically scale to fit almost any screen size
from tiny handheld mobile phones through to giant plasma and LCD monitors.
Live score match programme
When a scoreboard first opens, it will display a list of matches and
their start dates/times.
Then you can select which match to view/resume
and swap between matches.
Local scoreboard options (software based)
The BallStream Scoreboard Control
will provide a scoreboard from any monitor connected directly to the computer
(no internet required). BSC caters for all cue sport games including
billiards, snooker, 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball pool with many features for
performance statistics, tournament and draw management.

Billiards scoreboard
Billiards scoreboards display the players' names, overall scores,
current break, match duration and will sound an alarm when the time
allotted to the match runs out. The history of the current break is also
shown using miniature graphics underneath that show what each stroke
scored. |

Snooker scoreboard
Snooker scoreboards display the players' names, overall scores,
current break, frame score and the countdown for the shot clock (if
selected). If the shot clock is set as an option for the match an alarm
will sound when time runs out. The history of the current break is also
shown using miniature graphics underneath in the order of ball potted. |

Pool scoreboard
9-Ball and 10-Ball Pool scoreboards will display rack score, player's
names and balls potted in current break. A record of the balls potted and
those remaining to be potted is displayed at the bottom using miniature
graphics. The 8-Ball Pool scoreboard displays much the same except that
each player is either shooting for unders or overs rather than ball in
sequence. |
Scoreboard customisation
The scoreboards provided by the Scoreboard Control software can be customised
from a settings page to modify font style, font sizes, colours, layout and
proportion of panel areas.
Scoreboard translation
Both the live and local scoreboard versions including all management pages can
be translated into more than 24 different languages. The scorer can nominate
which language is to be used for scoring and the audience can select any
language that they want to use for the scoreboard programme and main
scoreboard. language preference can be changed on the fly at any time by
clicking the flag icon at the top of a page.
